Shepherd Hill specializes in the appraisal of Residential Properties including Single Family Homes, 2-4 Family Homes, Condos, Co-Ops and PUDS. In addition, we perform appraisals for new construction homes, including construction draw inspections to completion.

Shepherd Hill Appraisals works with Lending Institutions, Third Party Management Companies, Attorneys, Municipalities, Individuals and Estates. We provide Appraisals to the specifications of our clients and work within USPAP standards. Our appraisers are licensed by the State of New York and are constantly keeping up with the latest industry and technology changes and trends.

Shepherd Hill was founded by Myra Bleyer, Certified Appraiser, in 1985 and covers much of the Hudson Valley, including Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester Counties.

Our goal is to provide personalized service, quick turnaround, and an accurate final product that will meet the needs of the client. We utilize all available data sources including Multiple Listing Services, New York State Office of Real Property Online Database, Real-Quest, Real-Info.com, Census Maps and FEMA Maps, USPDR, General Code Online Library, local town halls, Real Estate listing agents and NyeNet Sales Web.

Because of our reputation for quick turnaround and accuracy, we work with some of the largest lenders in the US, including GMAC Mortgage, Countrywide Home Loans and Wells Fargo.
